- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Sorrentino found a couple of cavities that needed filling. You know how dentists (the ones I've been to, anyway) usually wait until the area is numb before giving you novacaine injections? He applied anesthetic but immediately gave me the injection and the jolt of pain was ridiculous. He told me I was just nervous. My previous dentist waited at least a minute or so and ASKED if I was numb before giving me the injection. I was never "nervous" with him. He did a filling in one of my front teeth and I was unhappy with how it looked. I mentioned it to one of his staff and she said coldly "I think you're being too critical." Bedside manner was virtually non-existant and he seemed more concerned with getting me on a carb-free diet than making me comfortable (and I'm not overweight).
